Materials and surfaces shape interior spaces. When incorporated between glass panes, they create a distinctive combination of texture, transparency and spatial depth. Fabrics, metal meshes, natural materials, wood and many other inserts can be laminated between sheets of glass and showcased to striking effect. At the same time, the glass protects the incorporated materials from direct contact, dust, dirt and damage. The outer glass surface remains smooth and easy to maintain. Decorative lamination therefore combines individual design freedom with the functional properties of a closed glass surface.

A wide variety of materials between glass panes

The appearance of laminated glass depends largely on the material selected for the interlayer. Transparent, translucent, textured, natural, metallic or extravagant: a wide range of materials opens up extensive design possibilities.

Fabrics, embroidery and textiles

Textiles give glass a soft, tactile character and create varying degrees of transparency depending on the weave. From subtle to expressive, they produce glass surfaces with exceptional visual depth.

Especially for partition walls, doors and high-quality interior design, textiles make it possible to combine transparency, privacy and materiality in a single glass element.

Metal, wire and metal mesh

Metallic inserts add structure, reflection and a precise, technical aesthetic. Depending on the mesh, surface finish and incidence of light, their appearance changes from different viewing angles.

From fine metal meshes to bold metallic structures, they can be used to create distinctive decorative glass solutions for architecture and interior design.

Wood and veneers

Wood and glass bring together two very different material worlds. Fine grain patterns and natural textures can be accentuated through the glass and, depending on the material, even combined with lighting.

Thin and translucent veneers in particular offer interesting possibilities for illuminated wall surfaces, furniture and bespoke interior concepts.

Films and other inserts

In addition to conventional materials, special decorative or functional inserts can also be incorporated depending on the project.
